Dr Emma Law
MBBS, BSE, FRACGPDr Emma Law is originally from the UK and qualified from Imperial College London with distinction in 2009. She worked in London for the last 6 years and then decided to emigrate to warmer climates and join the Challis Street Medical Centre. Now that Challis Street has merged with other health professionals to become M3 Hobson’s Bay, Emma is proud to be part of a winning team with excellent GPs, nurses and allied health.
She is passionate about all aspects to general practice, but has a special interest in paediatrics, sexual health and women’s health. She completed a BSc in Medical Sciences with Paediatrics in 2007 and a Diploma in Family Planning and Sexual Health in 2013.
She shares her passion for general practice by teaching medical students from The University of Melbourne, hoping to inspire them and consider general practice as a career. Emma loves everything that Melbourne has to offer and when she is not in the surgery you may find her keeping fit and enjoying the countryside.
She has started a few new hobbies such as beach tennis and watching AFL. She thinks that AFL is much more entertaining than soccer and has chosen to follow The Western Bulldogs.
